Physical Science Tutoring
Physics and chemistry — in Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth) and online. Understand the concepts and ace the exams.
Making Physics & Chemistry Click
Physical Science can feel overwhelming because it covers both physics and chemistry in one subject. Students often find they're strong in one area but struggle with the other.
As a science tutor in Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth), I break down complex concepts into clear, visual explanations with real-world examples. I work with Grade 10, 11, and 12 students both in person in Gqeberha and online across South Africa.
My goal is for you to understand the “why” behind every formula — so you can apply it in any question, not just the ones you've practised.

Common Questions About Physical Science Tutoring
Which physical science topics are hardest for matric students?
Newton's Laws and free-body diagrams trip up most students, along with electrochemistry and stoichiometry. These are high-mark topics in both NSC and IEB exams, so I spend dedicated time on them to build real understanding, not just formula memorisation.
Is in-person science tutoring available in Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth)?
Yes. I offer face-to-face physical science tutoring throughout the greater Port Elizabeth / Gqeberha area — including Summerstrand, Walmer, Mill Park, and surrounding suburbs. Online sessions via Google Meet are available to students anywhere in South Africa.
Do you cover both the physics and chemistry components?
Absolutely. Physical Science is one combined subject, so I teach both physics and chemistry. If you're stronger in one area, I'll focus more attention on the other to give you a balanced result.
How is a physical science tutoring session structured?
Each session typically starts with reviewing homework or past paper questions, then focuses on a specific topic using worked examples and visual explanations. You'll leave with lesson notes and practice problems to consolidate what we covered.
